Once again great support. Cant really complain about the result but when you consider that Logie, Perkins, Sweeney, Burgess, Cutts, Baker, French, Haule, Hogg, Sonner and Burnell were all out injured or missing for other reasons then I think we did tremendously well. Not wanting to be bitter but if we had had half of the above available then we could have given Kettering a much closer game.
Also good to talk to the boss on the bus on the way home, he sat and chatted with us, talking about the team and non-league in general.

BTW for the stadium MC to call us the Ducks and for a couple of doughnuts in the crowd to ask me which Aylesbury we were, shows poor research and knowledge of non league football, perhaps they think they will only be in this division for the yer. Funny that's also what Rugby, Slough and Aylesbury United thought.

Yeah agree there with everything jools , great to have chat with Batemen on the way back , most managers would not bother to sit and chat with the fans but it was a pleasure to chat with him Smile top bloke

Oh, apparently I wrote the match report for the Ducks v Northwood game yesterday for the NLP. Honestly I was at the Kettering game
