lets hope tonight we get back to our winning ways. 4 wins out of 5 doesnt sound bad at all to me. no disgrace in losing to kettering, but i was enjoying that unbeaten run, and hope we can get back into that run again.

chertsey should be playing for their lives though, so we must be carefull.

i also see that NGU who are fighting for survival against chertsy are playing the d*cks. if NGU can pull one off against them and we can beat chertsey that puts us only 6 points behind the d*cks, with a game in hand to our favour!!!

who says there's nothing play for now that we have pretty much secured survival....finishing above the D*cks afer doing the double would crown this season off perfectly.  king

COME ON YOU MOLES  cheers

Bit disappointed with that tbh, that's us doubled by the Curfews!
My biggest moan would be that with Brian coming on and the portly left back getting booked we didn't exploit the right wing enough. Thought Perks had a good game and dished out a bit of retribution, SBateman seemed to be sprinting all over the pitch, he's really growing on me. Loved seeing Weathers come up for that corner, it nearly worked.
Well done the Curfews, looks like they are up for a relegation scrap, they have a couple of decent players too.  cheers

Disappointed tonight and can't see many positives against the bottom of the league, too many shots going astray, too little thought going into passes, lack of concentration. Brad looked tired, Lamar didn't look like he had a great deal of energy and I think Sean Sonner needs to get match fit.

A night to forget.

utter gash really.

congratulations to chertsey though, they wanted it more, and fair play to them. they've done us home and away this season.

come on Moles! lets not just turn off now the season is almost up.

also, how exciting is the relegation battle turning out to be! bottom three seperated by only 2 points, all of a sudden chertsey and ashford have come to life and now NGU really need to fight for their lives aswell. i'll be watching that battle with morbid facination, but so glad we are not involved.

Lets be honest, they looked fresher than us, quicker to the ball, more determined to fight for the ball & control the game.
There were 3 goals in the game and we made all of them, that's what disappointed me most....!

I'm not 100% sure of all the inns and outs, but I blame the League for not extending the season, even if it was by 1 week.
Its totally unacceptable to expect players to do a weeks work and play 3 games in a week.....!
Yet again the hierarchy at the football league, who keep harping on about promoting Respect and fair play,
choose to do exactly the opposite themselves......  scratch

It seems to me that you are suffering from not having a settled side week in,week out. Last night for instance,no Sweeney,no Logie,no Burgess,no Stevens,no Burnell,no French.Obviously you can not legislate for injuries or suspensions or unavailability but when's the last time you put out the same side in consecutive games?

Havnt got any stats WW , but for the last 2 games we have relied heavily on the youth team set up to help put a team out

Hence why you've lost to Chertsey !

Aylesbury with the squad they have, shouldn't be losing games against Chertsey [though, nothing is a for gone conclusion in this division]. Steve Bateman's hands are obviously tied, to who is available to him to play.I hope for the sake of Moles fans everywhere, that from the start of pre-season and next full season, you get a fully functioning squad,as this season has been a wash-out,in more ways than one !

I think next season should be a better season for Aylesbury fans.

I honestly think that's a bit unrealistic now Chatty  Sad . Steve beat the dog n duck for us and kept us out the sh*t, whatever he wants to do with the remainder of the season I'll be happy with  cheers

i know what your saying DB, but i think the final challenge of catching the D*cks should be a good incentive to keep the boys fighting on the pitch. i hope SB and the team can see that there is a good reason to keep fighting for and wining every game.

if we dont manage it then we can still be happy for the reasons you state, AND we will have a very positive outlook for next season... but if we do manage it... how good would that be!
