Interesting start and of course the Ducks games at Christmas and April BH. means the games against them are spread out although I would have liked the home game against them to be the AUG BH but I guess the League took into consideration the FA Cup game at around the same time

i like what i see

from an 'off the pitch' perspective;

d*cks away on new years day will be good provded: a) its even on, and b) we're not so hungover we cant make it.

the august bank holiday game is the best alternative available to our derby game imo. i love Marlows ground for charachter and its a great town for a few sunny bank holiday pre match drinks (either at the brewery or in town) - would be great to get a big following to that one

also good to see all the new away grounds are on saturdays, i think most of us have much more chance of making the furthest games on saturday than midweek

and from an entriely slefish perspective, im moving out of wendover and will be in chalfont st peter temporarily through august, so CSP away is ideal for me.

from an 'on the pitch' perpective;

i doesnt appear that we have a particularly hard or easy start or finish to the season. plenty of teams that we should beat, and that will give us a hard game in the opening and closing 6 matches.

however, there is a tough looking patch from xmas through january: rugby, marlow (not so hard), the d*cks, daventry, royston, potters bar. chances are that some of these games (maybe all again) will be postponed, which means these tough games will be thrown in to the mix through out the end of our season.

all in all, mentally we finished on a high last year. i think all of us have very high hopes for the Moles under Steve Bateman. the potential for that playoff place is there. its going to take a monumnetal and sustained effort to get it, and with no easy finish to the season its going to have be hard earned.

COME ON YOU MOLES!!!

although scrap that... i hope this is now postponed as it clashes with chelsea away at tottenham.... the two biggest matches in my calendar... which ever one i attend ill be utterly gutted at missing the other.

Let's hope we hit the ground running this season, I don't think we've won an opening game unless Mark did in 10/11.  Top 3 by Sept would be nice.
Looks like Lammy might be starting the season at the Way after all  Laughing

Wendover, don't bother going to tottenham away, you will lose, at least you will see a win on that day for one of your teams
