First thought I hope james W has a speedy recovery from a nasty arm injury

On the playing front I thought first half we showed Kettering to much respect but second half we performed really well l speaking to Kettering fans they were saying we was best team they have played against this season,
It was a very friendly affair amongst fans which was good ,

We did not disgrace our selves and I saw a lot of positives

Come on you moles

Was also nice to see a few paying aylesbury united fans in the crowd cheering us on , they even celebrated when we scored, fair play to them , the 4 old boys and 1 grandson really enjoyed the game and coming to watch us play at Ives on 27th September ,

Good to have a few more fans..hopefully few more dad's from the youth section will show their faces. If we can carry on our great start to the season we might get new fan base.

First half I thought we were second best and a foot slower than the Poppies, second half with our tails up we got the equaliser and I think everyone in the ground was expecting us to take the lead but it just didn't happen. Kettering looked lively going forward but didn't look all that at the back, I'm a tad disappointed if I'm honest.

Was a shame not to have got a replay out of it at least, but as the heading says (even if it has got to many e"s in it)

As has been said once we had equalised really didn't see them getting a look in, we had chances galore but just couldn't finish and then the sucker punch! still good to see lots of FC kids and parents there!

Great day on the whole apart from the result...!
