Great counter attacking performance from the G's, what a cracker of a goal. Was that 6 the same lump that started for us against Amersham Shocked , I can see why Steve wanted him now.
I'm off to try and get some of this egg off my face, thanks lads Embarassed

bad day at the office fr sure. I can't wait for the pitches to harden so we can play the type of football that the team tried to play today BUT on a surface that didn't suit it. Godalming played over the top, no fancy football and deserved their win. We had loads of possession but it was too sticky for our passing game. Good crowd and nice to see loads of youngsters, chatting in the bar afterwards and The Bedgrove guys just love it

The amount of times that Weatherill and the centre halfs were exposed in that 1st half was too many. Also the 2nd goal knocked the stuffing out of us. Plenty for the team to talk about. If we had played really poorly I would be annoyed.

Not too bothered tonight. I think it was a one off and it might also give a kick up the arse to one or two of the team. Onwards and upwards. Already looking forwards to AFC Hayes.

Would of started with French today , the lads always got a goal in the locker , that defeat won't define the season let's regroup and go again,

Mike the bedgrove lot all wanna buy season tickets next season easily sell 100 plus just to them guys , they are a great bunch

We had the opportunity to get four points on KFC and really throw down the gauntlet, instead we threw down a wet lettuce.
Top of the league for another week, how down hearted can I be.
I would have started with Tom Cutts up front. cheers

im still very gutted about saturday, i really hope those dropped points dont come back to bite us - what a cock up that was by us.

the performance reminded me of us last season, plenty of possesion but completely impotent up front. this is not representative of how excellent we've this season and right up to this week (and last week tbh).

Hayes this saturday (hopefully) presents us with the best opportunity possible to get back into it. if we can score a couple then we can start to boss the game, and feel in control and get back to playing that fantastic football we know we can play.

provided the games are all 'on' - i see we've got hayes away, uxbridge at home, then egham at home - before the tough test of Kettering away

these next three games should be ours for the taking, lets get some proper momentum building up for that K*ttering game
