Does anyone know if the stories a nomadic club currently in bedfordshire are relocating to oxfordshire and pushing another club out of their home ground have any substance Shocked

It's still in Oxfordshire!!! Still cant get how they can play in the B&B. Also shouldn't they transfer to the South and West? Can't believe the way Thame Utd are being treated though

Let's not waste our forum talking about a team with no ground , let's get back to important things like we are 2nd in league and got another new sponsor on board and I'm in love with mrs FISH

More difficult to get players in S&W. Helluva lot more travel.

Just because it wasn't publicly announced, or even discussed on the internet, doesn't mean that 'nobody knew'. It's been terrace talk for weeks!

I'm only teasing you Lab, quite clearly you all knew judging by some of your "next season " comments. Everyone knows the Mushroom club is in the Claydons  Wink

wow, i actually feel bad for the ducks fans... (thats a first)... if moving accross the border means they have to switch over to S&W league, then that surely shuts the door on a move back to Aylesbury completely, untill they achieve promotion or move again to a league where aylesbury is within the catchment area.

i suspect the glimmer of hope of returning to aylesbury keeps the home fans connected to their club.... their board is going to have to ride one hell of a sh!tstorm over this....

Believe a big portion of fan base is now living in Leighton
Maybe they are hoping Leighton go bust now so they can buy it on the cheap ,
Looking on twitter fans are not happy about this move to Thame and I don't blame them. The fans have been loyal and now being bullied again to up sticks to another ground , shocking

Excellent job of scandalising the situation old boy, well played. You'll get a job at the Herald if you keep this up Razz

I live in Leighton, and may be big, but don't qualify as 'big portion of the fan base'
The others we were referring to are the Leighton fans who come to our home games instead of travelling away.

And nobody's being bullied! Generally the facilities ARE better at Thame.

So aylesbury united fans happy ????i think not otherwise they would not be asking for justification on the move

Divided I would say! As such a big decision would divide any fan base.
