PostSubject: Risborough Away   27.08.15 23:25

EDIT: Just found out that Rangers have now organised for the use of the field opposite their ground for parking, so parking at the ground should now be no issue

My Neighbour is involved with Ris. Rangers and has asked me to let Aylesbury Fans know that parking is extremely limited at the ground. Also being on a small lane, parking outside the ground is not ideal, so its a case of get there early to park, or park up near by in Risborough and do the 10 min walk down to the ground

Im going to the Whiteleaf Cross Pub in the centre of risbourough for a pre match pint if anyone cares to join us. would be nice to get a few of us together. I will be there with a mate who's come to a couple of games from 1.30, and most likely get a taxi to the ground at as its a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) from there.

Really looking forward to this one - I know Risborough are as well, so lets hope our boys are in the mood too

COME ON YOU MOLES!  cheers

I think £1925 in prize money makes it a big day regardless of who we are playing

Personally I'd be delighted if we can take it to a replay and win it at home, now that would be worth laughing about  Wink

Good win and a couple of quid in the bank, a decent sized crowd, looks like the Aylesbury football fans  voted with their feet as to who they were going to watch.
Bring on the cheese and ham.
Good luck to Risborough for the rest of the season, nice people and  they treated us really well, the t bar lady even went out of her way to get us some beers cheers

Couldn't agree more Daz - what a lovely club and for me that's what the FA Cup is all about.

It's a bit of a shame that they couldn't manage a goal for the home support, but I guess if they had of done I'd have probably been raging Laughing

love the negativity! Also love the comments about not being used to their new pitch..so the away side has played on it more? Actually the pitch is not good as it looks..very sandy underneath with grass poking through.

"Also love the comments about not being used to their new pitch" yeah I found that funny too, the pitch is too good for them Laughing
I find it quite refreshing, normally they're a bit sucky uppy and sheep like, next thing you know they will be questioning the secret talks on their new ground lol!
With a light sprinkling of rain to add a bit of zip to the surface it could well be one of our finest hours,  3 or 4 before half time and a bit of show boating in the second half, washed down with a few beers along the way will be just the job to see off the last bank holiday before Christmas.  cheers

The beer is a bit pricey over there though drunken
