Sounds a shocker. Disappointing after such a good week. Start again on Saturday.

Just had a read of the egham match report on their website. It does appear to have quite a few sour grapes sprinkled through out the match facts Question

We all have a bad day at the office, what is key however is how we respond. Two big games coming up Tuesday and Saturday both at home and I will go as far as to say if we view ourselves as genuine title contenders nothing short of two victories will suffice.

I believe our squad is strong enough to qualify for the play offs, and if we can ever put our strongest team (not that I'm pretending to know what that is) out we may be able to push a bit higher,  on Saturday we had at most seven first choice players starting in their best position, it was always going to be a big ask, we made some school boy errors with tactics too, (eh Tony Wink  ) hopefully we can all learn from our mistakes and beat Chalfont cheers

I think this was the first time I've seen Weathers come up for a corner, if we are 1-0 down in the last 5 its a nobrainer for me.

Looking back to last season, we ran out of steam in March and limped into (and out of) the play offs. The team should have been added to but where does the money come from to pay new & better players? Crowds didn't rise to pay for them. Only way we can improve team is to get rid of current players and who says replacement would be any better? If things need freshening up at R&D then they go out and pay for them.

SB is doing an amazing job here but for FC to get to the next level, he needs better players to work with and better players cost money.

That's what football management is all about, and is quite clearly the reason why we havn't signed a goalscorer, I'm sure Steve must be looking for one.
I totally agree with what you say about R&D.

I don't agree, while I've no idea what teams budgets are I would suggest that ours is in the top 8 maybe higher and we are 8th, I don't consider that amazing just competent, what Edwards and Meakins at CSP & Egham are doing is amazing (at the moment), but it is a long season.

We could argue that the Ducks are also doing as an amazing job this season. No ground, no money yet so far they are successful in keeping out of bottom 2. But as you say it's a long season.
