Bossed the first half, they flew out 2nd half and two quick goals won. Really unlucky not to grab a point. After Brian Haule had scored a smart goal on 90, Rudd put in a terrific free kick that the keeper had to work to save.

Considering so many games in past few days, it wasn't too bad a performance against admittedly a team in better form.

Coach . We done pretty well against top 5
We beat egham. Drew away at st Ives .beat Royston away beat Chalfont and Northwood

It's lower half teams that have done us this season getting beat by petersfield . Drawing with Leighton at home 0.0. being 4.1 up to then draw 4.4 was awful result . looking at it we beat more of the top 12 in league than we did against Lowe half . Maybe players just thought could turn up and win against cannon fodder in lower half of table .

Abysmal second half killed this one.

I thought we were competitive and played superbly first half; could have gone in 4 or 5 goals up.

I don't know what (if anything?) was said in the changing rooms at half time, but, whilst walking past, the Royston lads were getting a rollocking (and rightly so), but all was deathly silent from the home dressing room.
Granted, you could argue that little needs to be said when you play well, but everyone likes to hear praise and words of encouragement when they're doing a good job.

Still, what's done is done. We still have Northwood away this Saturday, then a tasty cup final to look forward to.

Do us proud lads!! cheers

Saying last night to MF , there have been a few collapses this season:last minute goal v Ducks, 3-3 v Fleet, a recent 4-4 v PBT and that early season 4-3  v CSP. 13 goals conceded in 4 games just there and nine valuable points lost. We'd be sitting pretty now.

Make that 14 in 5 with 11 dropped.

Works both ways with the last minute goals though. 5 games this season with 5 89+ goals - Egham, Hanwell (x2), Uxbridge (x2) = 9 points rescued.
