PostSubject: Andre Olukanmi   09.11.16 22:23

Hello Guys.

Alfreton fan here in peace!

Trying to find some info on Andre who we have just signed. Not much on Google but I notice he has recently made a couple of appearances for yourselves. Is he any good and do you think he is capable of Step 2 (National North) football?

Any help greatly appreciated. And apologies for jumping on to your forum like this. Mods - i hope this breaches no rules.

Best of luck on Saturday v Petersfield. Hope you pick up the three points.

Hi mate

I liked him a lot I wish we had the cash flow to stick him on contract as we could of made a few quid if sold him.

I only see him 3 games . Andre is lightening quick and skillfulbut we did not see his full potential I don't think because of the bang average players in our squad playing with him. If we had Andre last season with the squad we had then he could of been the missing player we needed to get into play offs.

Good luck for season and enjoy watching him play

Haha, these young players just don't learn do they, what that lad needs is a good grounding in mens football, he could have got 25 games under his belt here this season, his best bet now will be 20 mins as an impact sub for half a dozen games, it's too soon he's too green, I do wish him the best of luck though.

Thought Andre was excellent and changed the match when he came on in one of his early performances. Its great that a chance has come for him to prove himself..has taken a step back to take a step forward.
Not sure if he is ready for Northern premier just yet but will do well in the long run.
Good luck Andre!

Just a shame we find out he has gone via a third party Question

Hi Guys. Appreciate your replies.

He came on for his debut at Half time on Tuesday and look to have a good turn of pace as you say. Struggled to really make an impact though on what was an awful performance. Certainly looks to have something about him though!

Thanks again and all the best for the rest of the campaign.

Possible that the club didn't even know... he's joined a club in the North, in an entirely new league thus wouldn't need to be deregistered from the Southern League.

Georges Ehui has also moved on already I see (Hanwell Town).

Thanks for that Lab, that explains it.
16/17 games in and Georges moves to his 3rd club of the season!

And his 12th club overall, at the age of 22. Tells you everything you need to know IMO.

Seems like he is on a dual registration deal with yourselves. He appeared for 45 minutes against Gloucester City in a 2-0 defeat and really struggled to make an impact and it looks like he hasnt done enough to earn a regular spot here.
