As you may have noticed Christmas is fast approaching and at Aylesbury FC we have decided to pay a little back to those in need.

Between the 12th and the 18th of December we are using the club house and gate as a collection point for local food banks. If all of our supporters, volunteers, players, managers and coaches donated something we would have a pile of food donations to be proud of!

During this week we are open: Monday from 6pm for Under 18s game vs Harefield UTD
Tuesday from 6pm for First Team game vs St Neots Town FC
Wednesday from 7.30pm for Bingo
Thursday from 7.30pm for training
Saturday from 12pm until 6.30 for First Team game vs Hanwell Town
Sunday from 12pm

As you can see there are plenty of opportunities for you to donate!

Items most needed by our local food banks include Tinned fruit, Tea bags, Toiletries, UHT Milk and Baby food, but any long life, tinned or dried food would be gratefully received. No fresh fruit, vegetables, meat or fish though please!

Pro Bonuf of Urbs is our motto, it’s time once again to show these aren’t just words to us and we are proud to support our local community!

I dropped all our donations off yesterday and received this in part of an email saying thanks

On behalf of Aylesbury foodbank and all the clients we serve I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donation of 26.14kgs of food and toiletries.

We very much appreciate it and will use it to ensure people in need will not go hungry.
