Another toothless performance,,,,but still better than Saturday!

Not sure what's going on up-front. Just can't see where the goals are supposed to come from.
Where has all that pre-season passion and crisp passing gone

The Lads have got a week now to fix the problems.
We can't afford to play like that in the Cup against Leiston.

If that was better than Saturday my god! That was shite..Dont think we deserved to lose but certainly didn't do enough to win!
Can't see us getting anything out of the fa cup match.

Well,,MOM for me was Harry.
Came on with about 10 mins to go, and put more effort into that 10 minutes than anyone else did in the 90!

Watched the whole game on saturday coach and from what little I saw we were better than saturday. Interesting team selection made, and yes attacking is problematical.

Team selection didn't work in many people eyes. Midfield was very poor yesterday.

All I can think, is that there is some sort of internal problem occurring somewhere.

Look at the stats:

2016/17 under Danny Gordon, with a piecemeal squad, pretty much thrown together.
This time last year, 4 points from 4 games

2017/18 under Davis Haule, with a strong squad, quality players and who have had a solid pre-season.
1 point from 4 games - at least 2 of which were definitely winnable.

Doesn't make sense!

Heard he serving a ban..not sure if it is 2 or 3 matches so could either play this Saturday or next match.

3oo+ folk gave up their last bank holiday afternoon of the year to watch the El Quackico, we had glorious weather, one of the cheapest entrance fees in the league, possibly the cheapest booze, a good program, some of the best chips and Thin Lizzie playing on the tannoy, everyone's rubbing their hands with anticipation and collectively both teams with the name Aylesbury dish up that sh*t. The d*cks won the game fair and square, congratulations them.
I'd be very interested to know how many spectators are looking forward to watching either team again, I think it might be a big fat zero!
Jonny Mont benched, Brian and Ryan in looked a bit iffy to me on the starting line up,  Ryan once again did well though.

It's all about the positioning I reckon, like we discussed DB.

We don't need the left-sided players coming over the right side of the halfway mark, and vice-versa.
The midfielders and strikers seem to be wandering all over the shop!

Our inability to keep the ball brings all this on, with the ball we want to open up and without it close in, this hokey cokeying/push me pull me stuff often draws players in like a moth to the flames.
I think this current week will turn out to be the lowest point of the season, I just hope it started on Friday and not Saturday!  
When we eventually get going Davis will do well with this squad.
Most of us are all old enough to know it's a marathon and not a snickers.

Saturday certainly scared me off..going elsewhere for my football fix.Would lump on fc losing this Saturday.. going to be painful I think.

Well off you pop then coach. If you watch just for the glory then you are watching the wrong club.This club needs fans that can take the rough with the smooth and to show their loyalty through both. It is tough at the moment but that doesn't want me to go elsewhere to get a "fix". We have been here many a time but still we manage to get through. Us as fans play a big part in the whole journey.
