Saturdays red card, will we get away with it?

The ref comes off the pitch and straight away is aware that he's sent off the wrong player so the red card for Kyle should be rescinded, is that the end of the matter, has Ben got away with it ? 

Kyle Anthony banned for 1 game according to the FA's website - the FA Cup game on 30th

Not really a case of cancelling each other out. Kyle's a far more talented player imao. Like saying Vincent Kompany and Phil Jones cancel each other out.

Massive loss for us in that game, I would say that he is our standout player across the back four this season. Such a shame for the young lad

How on earth can he be banned when the ref(if thats what you call him) has admitted he sent the wrong player off, was that the referee assesor in the stand to bear witness to the almighty cock-up

Ridiculous, but I believe that the rules are unless you have a video replay then nothing can be appealed. Even at this level!

Tony, I don't know if the ref admitted to sending off the wrong player, I'm just saying that after the game he would have been made aware that Kyle wasn't the player involved in the tackle.
You never know it might be a bit of a blessing   , perhaps Ben would have got more than a 1 match ban what with missing games already this season through suspension.

I know what you are trying to say,just cannot see it being a blessing though
