I presume Brian (unfair) suspension covers tomorrows game? If so, who do you think starts in place of him?

I think it with be Gareth with maybe Ty getting some action towards the end.

Lets hope for a good turnout tomorrow, be great to open up a bit of breathing space with a win!

"lets make it count!"
Oh I do hope so Scott, another chance to turn the screw, lets hope we don't fluff it!
It could be a tricky one tonight, Egham have recently changed their management, with players coming and going I'm not so sure how much Steve will know about them.
Since being spanked at KFC 5-0 a couple of weeks ago they've had some decent results since and scored a few goals.
I 'm hoping we can get an early goal, give it plenty of width and scare the living daylights out of them. cheers

Egham really gave it a good go but class, power and strength made the difference. Deeney a real star for me and I loved the way Logie kept everyone going with his encouragement - his patience was rewarded. C'mon Moles!!

Fully agree Jools - Special mention for Conner, put in a real shift at LB. Bradley was also his typical quality self.

Now lets hope for all the points on Saturday!

Agree conner was class reads the game so well , deeney was quality.
Ryan o toole starting to look match sharp as well ,
Even a draw not the end of the world sat , just can't lose ,

Got to say fair play to egham though but up a good fight and had good banter with their keeper

I thought Egham were very lively, you can see how they whooped Daventry. An entertaining game and a good win, great stuff. cheers

If any neutrals were at the match tonight they would of walked away happy

Oh and nice to see a fair few people buying season tickets already for next season , this club seems to really to be going in the right direction.
Proud to me AFC fan ,

flood lights, bovril and cold toes, proper football.

a tepid opening 35 mins (ignoring them hitting the bar), belied what turned out to be a really good and fast game. I admit i suspected the worst when they went one up, but what a brilliant response.

really happy to see new boy Dave Deeney score, and always happy to see Ben and even more happy that he scored as well. great goal from o'toole as well.

i do think egham will feel dissapointed they didnt get a least a draw for all their effort. although their goal was a soft one, slipping under james who was already in place to stop it, they came very close plenty of times. luck was on our side for a few of those. they will be a force next year if they keep that team together. very quick and attack minded.

lets hope that they can get a result or two against hanwell and barton.

It's funny how the United fans are moaning about how some of their hardcore fans left the club to come and support the new aylesbury team that are around, yet don't seem to have mentioned the fact that their most famous local player is watching our games as well, and most likely seen more of our games this season that United! Interesting to see if he sticks around and will be great to have a chat to a local player that I once looked up to!
