I got there quite early yesterday but I still missed the presentation of the ceremonial key giving to Steve Bateman for the freedom of the Affinity Investments Stadium, and although we are a Christian Country as far as footballs concerned I see nothing wrong with saying "stop the crosses"......I am only joking of course, neither the Mayor or the Archbishop of Canterbury were in attendance Laughing
Slough were quite good, on paper they were always going to beat us & they still have something to play for, disappointing but a fair result I guess.

Chalfont I was disappointed because frankly I went expecting to win. Slough was always going to be tough and first 30 mins I thought it was pretty even but by HT it was all over. Hoping the season isn't going to fizzle out.
