Could really have done with playing the game last night. It would have given SB the chance to see a few fringe players or even one or two of the kids. It also means we could have got one of the minor games out of the way.

On the plus side it meant that any injuries have had a few days' time to recover for the Kettering game.

im intrigued as to how to the pitch was water logged at all? the weathers not been bad really. dont get me wrong im very sympathetic to the reality that some pitches are prone to it, but for north leighs sake surely they are in trouble if they are already water logged and the rains hav'nt really started yet. is it perhaps a case of the water table has not recovered in that area after last winter - i know that thames oxfordshire suffered exceptionally in the floods last year....

Good to see that on a post talking about if anyone is going to the north Leigh match where Scott has mentioned how it's north Leigh's pitch yet lee still seems to criticise our pitch about being waterlogged...and they are saying we are clutching at straws

believe they was asking how Scott can question how leigh pitch is waterlogged when ours flood quite a bit..

anyone changed their mind about how excited they are for tonights fixture

its a good opportunity for players like Ricky, Lynton and Davis to get 90 minutes so hopefully the side will still be strong but they will get a run out
