Great result. A nice run out and a bit of match experience for the youth players that were there thought they played very well. Also good to see new boy Ricky Miller who definately made a good impression. Sid and Jon and Butts worked hard as usual and Mead looked interestingly comfortable playing on the right wing. the 4-4-2 system worked very well (is anyone surprised at that) Well done Luke Abraham for a well deserved hat-trick. And also Scatts for some great saves.

No complaints on the playing side of things but just because I can I would like to have a quick whinge about Uxbridge. Firstly the lady on the gate, who kept us waiting and unable to get in for the first minute of the game as she was busy chatting with her friend before she charged us a small mortgage to let us in (£25.50) - that was obviously the second whinge. Mad

Anyway an entertaining game, and lovely thimbles of tea

Good to see some of the youth players given a run out, a 4-2 win sets us up for Saturday's hard trip to Hitchin.
