Thought provoking comments from the Barton manager Kennoy after they beat us over there.
And the Rovers manager laughed off any suggestions that other clubs will be looking at the striker, saying “I am sure he and a number of our other players have grabbed the attention of other managers, but for me this early in the season a good manager works with the squad he has built over the last 10 weeks during pre-season.
“If it has taken you 10 weeks to find out your players aren’t good enough and you need to go in for other club’s players at this early stage, then to me it shows you are a bad manager.
“I’m sure my chairman would question my judgement if I was to do that.”

The same could be said for recruiting managers, DB. Same as most players are in place, so are most managers. Who is out there? Bateman who used to be at Slough?
If the club think a change is needed who looks after the team Tuesday and Saturday whilst they look around? A senior player? Davis?
